About Signature Series

Signature Series soundware aims to reach new heights of synthesis while maintaining ease of operation and wide compatibility across the PC3-compatible instrument range. Many of the synthesis techniques used to create these Programs were developed in-house and are, as far as we know, unique within the world of synthesis. These instruments "raise the bar" for what can be achieved w.r.t. synthesis and without employing traditional physical modeling.

What You Get In the Box

When you purchase a Signature Series "app", you will get the following items:

  • A .pc3 file containing all programs (from one to many) associated with that particular soundware
  • Free email tech support
We are available via email to answer any questions you may have -- you can reach us at poserp [at] sbcglobal.net or, if all else fails, leave a comment on this page.

PK Wurlitzer 200A

This Program is simple and straightforward; it consists of a single Program with all necessary effects attached to it. When you sit down to play the 200A, we hope you will take time to appreciate the continuously-variable tone available by simply varying your velocity. The Program uses 4 Layers to perform its "magic", 3 of which are used for the main tone generation and 1 of which is dedicated to the key-up noise heard when you release a key. Otherwise, you can treat this Program as if it were a "real" Wurlitzer 200A.

If you are interested in adding effects (Chorus, Flanger, etc), it is highly recommended that you use the Aux1 and/or Aux2 slots instead of the Insert effect. The sound is shaped to some degree by both the EQ and the Distortion blocks available, so replacing those effects chains will alter the overall tonal quality of the Program.

Controls:

Mod Wheel: Tremolo Depth
Slider B (Midi CC #13): Tremolo Rate
Slider I (MIDI CC #27): Reverb Wet/Dry
SW Button (MIDI CC #29): Enable Tremolo
