NXT JUNP implements a "Roland"-style voice architecture; 2 VCOs and a 24 db/oct lowpass filter. This uses a number of "analog modeling" techniques to improve phase alignment issues (for a more "solid" bass when many oscillators are playing in unison) and provide an overall "feel" of playing an analog synth. Sliders assigned to envelope "depth" parameters are bi-polar, so zero is in the middle of the slider's travel. These are noted below with an astrix next to their names:

Controls:

Slider A - Filter Resonance
*Slider B - Env to Cutoff Bipolar
*Slider C - Env to Osc1 Pitch Bipolar
*Slider D - Env to Osc2 Pitch Bipolar
Slider E - Osc2 Pitch and Waveform
Slider F - ENV Attack
Slider G - ENV Decay
Slider H - ENV Release
Slider I - Reverb Send
SW: Env to VCA
Modwheel: Filter Cutoff

NXT JUMP uses the "Osc2 Pitch and Waveform" slider to a.) change the pitch of Osc2 relative to Osc1, and b.) select the waveform for Osc 2. There are a couple of variations available in the presets. In the middle of its range, the slider by defaults enables a square wave oscillator and two sawtooth wave oscillators. Going below a MIDI value of 64 allows you to detune a square wave relative to a sawtooth wave by a range of negative 1 octave (basically a tune-able sub-oscillator). Going above a MIDI value of 64 allows you to detune a sawtooth wave relative to another sawtooth wave by a range of positive 1 octave. For presets where the name ends in "sw", all oscillators are sawtooth waves. For presets where the name ends in "sq", all oscillators are square waves.

NXT JUNP contains several variations that mate the signal path post-oscillator with different types of synthesis. NXT SUNP uses the same signal path, but with keymaps instead of DSP oscillators as the primary sound source. NXT FUNP uses the same signal path but with two FM operators (for this variation, Slider E controls FM Modulation Depth). Finally, NXT AUNP uses single-block sawtooth oscillators pitched up to near the maximum range to emphasize aliasing, in place of the usual oscillators.

Finally, the package also includes three Setups to assist with creating stacked voices and splits -- NXT JUNP 2V, NXT JUNP 4V, and NXT JUNP Split.
